Come and meet Dr. Phil. Morten Pedersen on the activities of Danish Industry in Asia on 3 December 2018 | The event is organized in cooperation with the Royal Danish Embassy in Thailand

In 2018 we are celebrating 160 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Thailand, which serves as a stepping-stone to celebrate, but also to further strengthen our bilateral relations. As an example of our longstanding bilateral relations in trade we invite you to meet Morten and learn more about the Danish company FL. Smidth & Co. in Asia and especially the creation of Siam Cement Group (SCG) here in Thailand.

For this occasion Dr. Phil. Morten Pedersen , head of department at Nordjylland Historical Museum, has been invited to Thailand and DTCC has the pleasure of his presence on the first evening where he will bring you closer to the development of Danish Industry in Asia. He defended on 2nf of February 2018  doctoral dissertation “When China awakens. Danish multinational companies in Asia before World War II “. The dissertation focusses on FL Smidth’s activities in Siam, China, Japan and India. Mr. Morten Pedersen will be available for questions and small talk until 20:30.
