The latest Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2024, released by Transparency International, highlights contrasting developments in public sector transparency across the globe, including notable results for Denmark and Thailand.
Denmark continues to lead the global ranking, securing the top position worldwide with a score of 89 out of 100. The country remains widely recognized for its strong public institutions, high levels of accountability, and robust anti-corruption frameworks.
Thailand received a score of 33 out of 100, ranking 116th globally. While the country has implemented various anti-corruption measures in recent years, challenges remain in strengthening enforcement mechanisms, improving transparency, and enhancing public trust in governance systems.
The CPI measures perceived levels of public sector corruption on a scale from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean), drawing on expert assessments and business surveys worldwide.
