Last Friday 26 September 2026 the Danish – Thai Chamber of Commerce was invited by Index Living Mall to observe the opening of the latest franchise newcomer Flying Tiger Copenhagen. The new store was opened on 2nd floor in the EmSpere mall, close to Phrom Phong BTS station.
A couple of hundred young fans were waiting in line to meet influencers, popular media stars and prominent guest of honor’s who were present as well to promote the Flying Tiger brand. The Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce as well as Ambassador Danny Annan and spouse was present as well to inaugurate the new store.
The main owner, Martin Jermiin, CEO of Flying Tiger Copenhagen, gave the welcome opening speech, and informed that Flying Tiger Copenhagen plans to have two stores in Singapore, seven in Malaysia, and eight in Thailand, by the end of the end of 2025. Flying Tiger Copenhagen is now present with stores in 41 countries.
The Flying Tiger expansion into Southeast Asia by entering Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, with plans to open 130 stores by 2030. This expansion is supported by franchise partners and Maersk’s logistics network. In Thailand, Index Living Mall (ILM) is the exclusive franchise partner, with Flying Tiger Copenhagen set to enhance ILM’s portfolio with creative, affordable lifestyle products for Thai shoppers. In Asia Flying Tiger aims to open 1,000 more stores within 2028.
News shops to come in Thailand shortly are Shop in Shop format at Index Living Mall Pattaya. Additional branches in October: Fashion Island, Seacon Square, Platinum Fashion Mall and The Mall Bangkapi.
