The Danish – Thai Chamber of Commerce and its members, extend our deepest sympathies to the Kingdom of Thailand on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who departed peacefully on the evening of October 24, 2025, at the age of 93.
Her Majesty was a symbol of grace, wisdom, and compassion, whose lifelong dedication to the Thai people and culture earned admiration across the world.
Her Majesty was very popular and in the hearth of the Danish people ever since Her Majesty visited Denmark in 1960. For over seven decades, she championed cultural preservation, rural development, and humanitarian causes, earning the love and reverence of generations. Her birthday, August 12, celebrated as Mother’s Day, reflected her role as the nation’s maternal heart.
Denmark joins Thailand in mourning this profound loss and honors her legacy of service and unity. May Her Majesty rest in peace, and may the Thai people find comfort in the enduring memory of her remarkable life.
