On 22 October 2025 Pandora Productions in Bangkok inaugurated their new onsite exhibition displaying the history of Pandora from the cradle in Denmark in 1979 to being the largest jewellery producer globally.

The Danish – Thai Chamber of Commerce was invited to a journey through Pandora’s never-ending expansion from a small jewellery shop in Copenhagen, Denmark, to a globally celebrated brand that unites exquisite craftsmanship with pioneering innovation through the bracelet concept to become a global giant in its field. The Pandora Story exhibition was introduced and guided by Mr Jeerasage Puranasamriddhi, Chief Supply Officer and Managing Director of Pandora Production Thailand.

Present was the company founder Mr Per Enevoldsen, as well as Mr Alexander Lacik, Chief Executive Officer; Ms Berta de Pablo-Barbier, Chief Marketing Officer and Mr Byron Clayton, Chief HR Officer. All together with prominent guests as Mr Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary-General of the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI), and Mr John Alexandersen, Commercial Counsellor and Head of Trade, the Royal Embassy of Denmark.

The business started in 1979, when Per Enevoldsen had a small jewellery shop in Copenhagen. As a goldsmith, he began importing jewellery from Thailand in 1982. Along the way, he began arranging for his own designs to be made. After various attempts at managing production from afar, and with sales steadily increasing, Enevoldsen decided to establish his own manufacturing facilities in Bangkok. In 1989, he moved to Thailand with his wife Winnie and set-up a small manufacturing facility in Bangkok, employing 10 people. Ten years later, the business’ first charm bracelet appeared.

Pandora’s products are available in more than 100 countries on six continents through more than 6,700 points of sale, including around 2,600 concept stores. Globally Pandora employs more than 33,000 people of which at least 13,200 are employed in Thailand.
