The European Union (EU) and UN Women jointly launched a three-year WeEmpower Asia programme on Friday to encourage the private sector to expand economic participation and business opportunities for women in seven Asian countries: Thailand, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.
