On 14 September 2017, Mr Lars Rensch Neilsen manufacturing Vice President of PANDORA received JNA Awards 2017 in Sustainability Initiatives of the Year category at Intercontinental Hotel, Hong Kong.

Organised by JNA (Jewellery News Asia), the global prestigious JNA Awards honours organisations with outstanding achievements to encourage continuous improvement towards excellence and celebrate advancement of the jewellery industry internationally.

‘This world-class award is a recognition of PANDORA Production Thailand, the world’s largest jewellery manufacturer, for our commitment on sustainability given that our site in Lamphun received LEED certificate – Gold Level and our site in Bangkok successfully implemented a number of energy conservation and successful waste management initiatives which won several awards from both public and private sectors. And we will not stop here, another LEED certified facility in Bangkok is coming and more environmental projects are on its way. These make PANDORA so proud that we can contribute to social and environmental improvement in Thailand which is the only country that PANDORA crafting facilities are located for more than 28 years.’ said Mr Neilsen.
