The 2018 Easter Lunch was an undeniable success hosted at the good old Stable Lodge in Sukhumvit Soi 8 and the lunch came with a nice surprise as well.

It turned out that the young owner Judith came along to the party as well and gave us the motivation and intentions for buying the Stable Lodge (hereafter nicknamed Stalden). Judith has Danish roots and told the more than 60 members and friends that she indeed intends to continue the traditions serving Danish food in an ‘hyggelig’ and cosy atmosphere. The rooms in the hotel have recently been renovated.

The whole atmosphere was good judged from merry conversations at the tables both inside and outside. The food was diverse, plentiful and tasty as traditional Danish Easter Lunch demands it. The wine and Linje Akvavit snaps was kindly sponsored by the Danish Bang & Olufsen (Peter Waagensen) together with Scan Global Logistics (Torben Nybo Jensen). The beer was kindly sponsored by Boon Rawd Beer as Carlsberg now unfortunately have closed their office in Thailand.

The Danish – Thai Chamber conveys many thanks for the Lucky Draw sponsors being Royal Copenhagen, Pandora Productions, ECCO Thailand and Bang & Olufsen for their support in making the Easter a joyful event.
