The Passenger Service Charge (PSC) for international departing passengers has almost doubled sine 20 June 2026.
The PSC is included in the airline ticket and may cause an increase in the ticket price itself. The fee is charged at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang Airport, Chiang Mai Airport, Mae Fah Luang Chiang Rai Airport, Phuket Airport and Hat Yai Airport.
The increase is almost a doubling of the previous, making the total fee 1,120 baht, and is charged through the airline companies.
In Denmark the passenger fees, although divided into separate categories, are half the fee charged in Thailand, making Denmark far cheaper when using airports for travelling.
