Doing Business 2019 is the 16th in a series of annual reports investigating the regulations that enhance business activity and those that constrain it. The report covers 11 indicator sets and 190 economies of which Thailand is included and compared with its neighbors based on data sets up till May 2019. It focusses on small- to medium-sized companies. The indicators comprises regulation for starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency and also measures features of labor market regulation. The analysis displays Thailand ranked against regional neighboring economies outlining in tables and eye-catching colored graphs.
