The fair started at 9 am with a welcome speech from the Head of AIT Career Center. After the warm welcome to all participating companies with gift baskets, the representative of the President of AIT gave his opening address for the career fair to be underway.

Soon after the opening ceremony, students of AIT started to visit the booths of companies represented at the fair, with many students showing interest in applying for DTCC and its member-firms by dropping their CVs at the DTCC booth. Over 130 CVs were received in total through out day.

As DTCC anticipated, the member-firms can immensely benefit from the database of CVs received at the fair. The database of CVs can offer a cost-effective source of interested, eligible candidates for DTCC’s member-firms to recruit highly dedicated and talented human resource as interns and full-time staff. The database has already been shared with the member-firms who have requested for it, and it will soon be shared with all member-firms.

DTCC hopes to participate in similar career fairs across Bangkok in the future.
