Dear Members
As you have seen from our website and the E-newsletter our Annual General Meeting takes place on 27th February. As usual one of the agenda points is the election of Board of Directors. This time we do have three vacant positions plus one person for re-election, and I urge any of you who would like to make a difference, and support our very active Chamber, to stand for election. I know that there are also a number of Danes in Thailand, who are not members of the Chamber, but very well could be. If any of you know someone, even if they are not today a member, and they are interested, please ask them to contact us.
After being on the Chamber Board for 10 years and as President for 5 years, I have decided, that it is time that I step down, in order to open up for new candidates and new directions.
It is a very rewarding and interesting experience to be involved on our Board. It is also at times challenging, but that is what makes it all exciting. We have today a very dynamic Board, supported by the Chamber office staff, and we cooperate very well between ourselves, our members and the Danish Embassy. But it is important we continue to have a balance of old experienced Board members and new blood with new ideas.
For more information about the Board work please do not hesitate to contact any of our Board Directors.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 27th February.
Sincerely
Peter E. Romhild
