The newly formed Hospitality & Tourism group held its first meeting on 8 April 2017 at Admiral’s restaurant. The group outlined its area of work and elected Kenneth Joergensen (Buffolo Tours) as chair and Martin Vestergaard (Bravo Tours) as vice-chair. Torsten Edens the newly appointed general manager for GoBeyond confirmed that GoBeyond would rejoin the chamber and actively work with the advocacy group. Bent Laasholdt from Admiral’s restaurant represented hospitality and the group will shortly invite other relevant DTCC members to join its meetings.
The group welcomed the new initiatives taken by the DTCC board in activating members and they are committed to back up this initiative by formulating clear objectives and establish best practices for members within their sector.

The group is open to corporate members of DTCC working in the hospitality and tourism related industries and warmly encourage DTCC members in these industries to join the advocacy group.
Newly elected DTCC board member Joachim Schalck (Vestas) and board member Stig Vagt-Andersen partly joined the meeting to encourage the group and confirm the new boards support for the advocacy work.
