The chamber has from our corporate member Baker & McKenzie received the following update related to the new regulations on trade remedy measures.
The amendment to the Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Act, B.E. 2542 (1999) in May 2019 is to include anti-circumvention measures to prevent circumvention of the trade remedy measures. There has been evidence of the practice of circumvention around the world, which could have an effect on the country’s industry. This amendment will allow the Thai government to take action against circumvention.
