Thailand’s Commerce Ministry has asked businesses across the country to keep prices of goods unchanged for 60 days to help control the cost of living.
The request covers essential items such as food and daily necessities. Officials said there is enough supply in the market, so people should not worry about shortages during this period.
The government also warned producers, wholesalers, and retailers not to raise prices without clear reasons, especially by using global issues like energy costs as an excuse.
This measure is a short-term plan to support consumers while the government continues to monitor the economy and price situation.
